Unlike standard smooth tarpaulins, embossed vinyl features a textured surface — available in linen, leather grain, diamond, taffeta, or custom patterns — that enhances grip, conceals scratches, and provides a premium look.
Manufactured through a high-temperature calendering or knife-coating process, PVC embossed tarpaulin combines a high-tenacity polyester scrim base with a PVC coating. The embossing is applied using engraved rollers, creating a permanent, non-slip texture that won't fade or flatten over time.
